ESPON 2013

Σύντομη Περιγραφή:

Priority 2 offers a framework for a new type of projects within the ESPON Programme, supporting the use of existing results in partnership with different groups of stakeholders.
Introducing a new approach to the generation of project ideas as well as to the implementation of projects, it provides an opportunity to stakeholders for:
- enhancing their understanding of the larger territorial context
- making comparisons to other territories, regions and cities
- hereby providing a european perspective to considerations on the development of their territories.

Projects under Priority 2 can have different foci and accordingly vary in their content. In order to have a clear distinction between the various possible project orientations, each project needs to be clearly allocated to one of the following types of action:
1) Integrated studies and thematic analysis;
2) Knowledge support to experimental and innovative actions;
3) Joint actions related to other Structural Funds Programmes.

Priority themes are as follows: (each has a budget of 0,35M Euro)
- EITA - ESPON and TIA - Territorial Impact Assessments
- ULYSSES - Using Applied Results from ESPON as a Yardstick for Cross-Border Spatial Planning and Development
- RISE - Identifying and Exchanging Best Practice in Developing Regional Integrated Strategies in Europe
- POLYCE - Metropolisation and Polycentric Development in Central Europe: Evidence Based Strategic Options
- TPM - Territorial Performance Monitoring
- BEST - METROPOLIS - Best Development Conditions in European Metropolis: Paris, Berlin, Warsaw
- SEMIGRA - Selective Migration and Unbalanced Sex Ratio in Rural Regions
- SMART -IST - Smart Institutions for Territorial Developments

One single proposal can be selected for each of the eight themes indicated.
