Youth in Action (2007-2013)

Σύντομη Περιγραφή:

The aim of the European Voluntary Service is to support young people's particpation in various forms of voluntary activities, both within and outside the European Union. Under this Action, young people take part individually or in groups in non-profit, unpaid activities.

Objectives:
-Provide an informal intercultural learning experience for young people encouraging their social integration, active participation, increasing their employability and giving them opportunities to show solidarity with other people.
-Support the development of local communities
-Encourage the establishment of new partnerships and the exchange of experience and good practice between the partners.

Priorities:
-Involving young people with fewer opportunities and partner organisations participating for the first time in a European Voluntary Service activity.
-Encouraging further development of established partnerships.
In the framework of the cooperation with "other Partner Countries of the world" projects with countries from Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific as well as from Latin America and Asia.

-Exchange of know-how
